For Kai, hospitality has always been about more than creating beautiful experiences - it is about caring for people.
That same philosophy extends beyond the events he creates. Kai is deeply committed to supporting people and communities facing hardship, both in Los Angeles and around the world. He believes that having the ability to help comes with a responsibility to do so, and that meaningful change often begins with simply showing up, listening, and giving generously.
Together with his partner, Kai founded Partners for Pediatric Progress (P3), a nonprofit initiative at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA dedicated to improving access to healthcare for children living in some of the most underserved regions of sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America.
Through P3, Kai and his partner support efforts that bring much-needed pediatric healthcare, education, and resources to communities where access to basic medical care can be profoundly limited.
Closer to home, Kai remains passionate about supporting organizations and individuals working to address poverty, hunger, homelessness, and inequality throughout Los Angeles.
Giving back is not separate from who Kai is - it is part of how he believes we should live. Whether through his work, his community, or the causes closest to his heart, he remains committed to using what he has built to help create a more caring and equitable world.
